Delete your Ordit account

Request deletion of your account and associated personal data for Ordit: Food Delivery, developed by Ordit International Ltd. You can make a request here without signing in or reinstalling the app.

Request account deletion

  1. Email [email protected] with the subject “Account deletion request”.
  2. Send it from the email address registered to your Ordit account and ask for your account and associated personal data to be deleted.
  3. If you can no longer access that email address, include it in your message so support can help verify that the account belongs to you.
Email deletion request

Opens your email app with a draft. Send the email to submit your request. If no email app opens, use the address and subject above in your preferred email service.

Do not send your password, payment card details or identity documents with your request.

What happens next

Ordit may ask you to confirm your identity before processing the request, to protect your account. There is no charge for a standard request. Ordit responds within one month. If a request is complex, or you have made several requests, this may be extended by up to two further months; Ordit will explain why within the first month.

This is a request to delete your account, not temporarily deactivate it. Once deleted, you will no longer be able to use that account. Uninstalling the app alone does not delete your account or its data.

Data removed from your account

When processing an account deletion request, Ordit removes:

  • Your name, email address and phone number from the account.
  • The saved addresses and preferences attached to the account.

Some records are retained as explained below.

Data retained after deletion

  • Order and invoice records: kept for the remainder of their six-year retention period to meet accounting and tax record requirements, and used for nothing else.
  • Billing details and Stripe reference: billing details held for those invoices and the reference identifying you to Stripe are also retained, as described in the privacy policy.
  • Security and audit logs: records of who changed what and when, including an email address, IP address and timestamp. These logs cannot be edited by design. Ordit is reviewing their retention period and will publish it in the privacy policy once it is set.
